Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and working with low voltage systems. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects such as renovations, new constructions, and system upgrades in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, and control panels.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical tasks efficiently and safely.
- Work on construction sites, renovation projects, or industrial facilities to upgrade or install new electrical infrastructure.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians, contractors, and project managers to complete projects on time.
Experience
- Proven experience as an construction electrician or in a similar electrical role with a strong understanding of construction environments.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals accurately.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Experience with renovation projects or upgrades involving complex wiring systems.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting and repair tasks.

Pay: $18.20-$44.61 per hour
