Milano Hardware and Interior is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to drive growth through proactive business development and relationship building within the contractor and construction industry.
This is not a counter sales role. While the position includes time in the office for coordination and planning, the primary focus is on generating new business, developing accounts, and building a strong presence in the field.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Actively prospect and generate new business through cold calls, site visits, and networking
- Build relationships with contractors, builders, renovators, and project managers across the GTA
- Visit job sites, offices, and showrooms to promote products and close sales
- Identify opportunities for bulk and repeat business (multi-unit, custom homes, renovations)
- Develop and manage your own book of business
- Follow up on leads quickly and consistently to convert into sales
- Work closely with the internal team on quotes, orders, and fulfillment
- Represent the company’s product lines including Weiser, Emtek, Taymor, and other hardware solutions
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
Who You Are
- A true “hunter” — confident generating leads and opening new accounts
- Strong communicator who builds trust quickly with trades and business owners
- Self-driven and comfortable working independently in the field
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple clients and opportunities
- Sales experience in construction, hardware, or building materials is a strong asset
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
