- WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A LICENSED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN.
- YOU MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE ONTARIO COLLEGE OF TRADES AND SHOULD BE LICENSED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicle problems relating to mechanical and electrical. Meet tight deadlines with attention to detail -Test-drive vehicles, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. We are a high volume Canadian Tire Service Center. You require knowledge in brake systems, tires, oil changes, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition. Be able to do troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmissions & differentials, fuel system components. You will communicate your diagnosis or additional services to the service advisor and the service manager.
- Strong automotive background with a solid attention to detail. Ontario Standard Automotive Repair Technician Licience 310S, and customer friendly. Must have your own tools and safety shoes. Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair. Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety. Ability to operate all auto repair tools-Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must & the ability to operate all auto repair tools. Strong English communication tools. Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide a clean driving abstract. Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goals.
