Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Car Mechanic for one of our clients to join their automotive service team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues using mechanical knowledge and schematics
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Assist with vehicle assembly or disassembly as needed for complex repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
Experience
- Must have a 310 S License automotive technician.
- Proven dealership experience or mechanic experience in an automotive repair setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Hands-on experience with welding, schematics reading, and assembly processes
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
- Prior experience providing excellent customer service in an automotive environment is preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety regulations is essential
Job Location: Queen St W & Dufferin St
Shift timings: 8:00am- 5:00pm Moday-Friday no weekends
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
