We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plumber Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing systems, construction, and maintenance. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively under supervision
- Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and other plumbing components
- Perform basic measurements and calculations using fundamental math skills for accurate installation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment for yourself and team members
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills such as blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and system troubleshooting
Skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in plumbing systems and construction trades
- Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC, or maintenance work is a plus but not required
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is advantageous
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installation tasks
- Good problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills through hands-on training and mentorship
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in various construction environments
