Job Description – Who we are looking for to join the team:
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Store Coordinator to join our team at our Navin, Manitoba location. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service while supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility. Your responsibilities will include administrative duties, facility and yard maintenance, and ensuring the property is clean, secure, and well maintained.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working both independently and alongside the Store Manager, to whom they will report to. They possess strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, take initiative, and are committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for our customers. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys a mix of indoor and outdoor work and takes pride in keeping the facility clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service, Sales & Administration:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers, maintaining positive and professional relationships
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
- Follow up with customers as needed and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments when required
- Manage tenant accounts, including move-ins, move-outs, transfers, and renewals
- Prepare and maintain lease agreements and ensure all compliance documentation is accurate and up to date
- Handle accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, refunds, and daily transaction reconciliation
- Monitor delinquent accounts and manage the collections process (calls, notices, lien preparation)
- Maintain accurate records in CRM/property management systems
- Generate basic reports related to occupancy, revenue, arrears, and leads
- Coordinate reservations and strategically assign units based on customer needs
- Assist customers in identifying the best storage and moving solutions
- Support on-site operations, including scheduling move-ins and move-outs and providing site access
- Provide coverage and operational support in the absence of the manager
Property Maintenance:
- Perform maintenance duties (e.g., cleaning units, debris removal, minor fixes)
- Routinely inspect the entire facility for cleanliness, security breaches and maintenance requirements for the yard.
- Overseeing seasonal landscaping including snow removal, lawn maintenance and driveway maintenance.
- Follow safety and company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle is required
- Loader experience is considered an asset but not required
- Property Management, Landscaping or Yard Maintenance Experience
- 2+ years of customer service, sales, or administrative experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable handling phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Basic knowledge of invoicing, payments, and collections is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM or property management system experience preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable with physical tasks and working outdoors in varying conditions
- Flexible and able to support operations as needed
Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
30 hours per week
Tuesday – Saturday
