Overview:
We are looking to add great people to our Production Team.
In this role, you will support production activities including food processing, packaging, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and helping ensure that high quality and food safety standards are consistently met.
This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast paced environment, and a willingness to learn new skills.
Starting wage: $19.25/hour.
There are opportunities for wage increases and growth, and we will help you get there.
Schedule (Part Time)
- Afternoon shifts: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
- Weekend availability. Weekend shifts may vary, and we can offer some flexibility based on availability.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food processing tasks following food safety regulations.
- Package finished products, ensuring proper labelling and presentation.
- Utilize basic math skills to measure ingredients and product specifications.
- Monitor equipment during production and report any issues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing or food processing is a plus.
- Familiarity with packaging processes and sanitation practices in the food industry is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions accurately.
Requirements
- Level 1 Food Safe Certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (~23 kg).
- Steel-toe shoes/boots required
- Eligible to work in Canada.
