We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. Your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills will be essential in diagnosing issues, recommending services, and upselling additional repairs or maintenance. Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Assess customer needs and provide accurate information regarding automotive repairs and maintenance services.
- Utilize your mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate solutions to customers.
- Upsell additional services or products based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service recommendations, and sales transactions.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while keeping customers informed about progress.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and securely, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar role at a dealership is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand automotive repair processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships and providing solutions.
- Sales experience with a proven track record of upselling products or services is advantageous.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining confidentiality and security.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to customers.
