Overview
We are seeking a qualified and dependable Class 1 Driver to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently across various locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and possess a strong commitment to safety and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles to transport freight over short and long distances.
- unload cargo using Powered jacks ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, performing basic maintenance or reporting issues for repairs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure the safety of oneself and others on the road.
- Assist with warehouse operations including loading, unloading, and inventory management when required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record.
- 3 years Experience in freight transportation, commercial driving, or heavy equipment operation preferred.
- Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and handle physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Pay: $4,500.00-$5,000.00 per month
