We are looking for a responsible Customer Service Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Customer Service Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting with order entry, planning, revisions and general administrative duties.

Responsibilities:
- Print daily orders received via email and EDI
- Review orders for correct pricing and quantities
- Order entry – enter orders into inventory management system (Fishbowl) and 3PL website
- Prepare paperwork for outbound shipments, packing slips, shipping labels, BOL’s & Customs documents
- Review production schedule for any potential short shipments
- Contact customers for order revisions
- Review packing slips after orders ship for errors
- Record lot codes for food safety tracking
- Prepare invoices in QuickBooks
- Submit invoices for payment through EDI
- Contact customers if short shipment and advise new replenishment date
- Inform A/R of any shortages and back up for deductions and credit notes
- Various filing and data entry
What do you bring?
- Prior Customer Service experience required (min. 2 years)
- Administrative diploma considered an asset from a Canadian accredited College or University
- Advanced level of proficiency in a variety of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong English speaking and writing skills
- Attendance, diligence, punctuality and reliability
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, organizational skills, work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines
- Ability to multitask, with excellent
