Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Demolition Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with demolition projects, ensuring safety and efficiency while supporting various aspects of building deconstruction and site cleanup. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a range of skills in construction and demolition.
Duties
- Assist with the safe demolition of structures, including removal of debris.
- Perform demolition-related tasks such as drywall stripping, steel stud removal and ceiling demo.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by disposing of debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Requirements
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation preferred
- Knowledge of construction estimating and concrete forming is advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to demolition and construction sites
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
