Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory. The Server will play a vital role in maintaining food safety standards, managing guest interactions, and supporting the overall operation of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming and organized environment
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, including serving and food preparation roles
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with professionalism and courtesy
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
