SEEKING: A skilled Automotive Mechanic to work on fleet vehicles. We are looking for a long term, reliable, self-motivated person that can operate independently. You will be offered 40 hours a week with 2 hours of overtime daily. Mechanical experience necessary.
WAGE: We offer competitive rates based on qualifications with room for growth. Benefits offered after 3 months.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repairing & Maintaining a fleet of trucks, trailers
- Ensures maximum productivity and safety for each task
- Maintains records of all maintenance and repairs daily
- Order parts and shop supplies necessary to complete repairs to ensure quick and efficient repairs
- Opportunity to gain experience of construction equipment; generators, rollers, dozers
- Maintains a safe and productive work environment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of provincial regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization and external vendors
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as a safety policies, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Strong motivational, coaching and teaching skills
- Physical ability and mobility to work in a garage/shop and commercial yard environment; carry moderate to heavy amounts of weights; operate assigned equipment and vehicles
- First Aid (Asset)
