Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Must have at least 1 year of acute care experience. Basic keyboarding/computer skills are required. Excellent communication skills are required. The ability to balance numerous demands and conflicting priorities is essential. The candidate must be able to work well independently and withing a team. Demonstrates critical thinking skills within scope of practice, including clinical judgment, problem solving skills, and strong decision-making ability. Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, involving constant walking, bending, and lifting 50 lbs. or over.
Preferred Qualifications:
Connect Care experience preferred.
