Position: Clinic Manager

We’re looking for a dedicated and organized Clinic Manager to join a well-established dental clinic in Calgary, part of a growing and supportive dental network. In this role, you’ll be part of a growth-focused environment where your strengths in operations, communication, and team leadership will make a meaningful impact.
Specifics about the role:
- Job Type: Full Time
- Wage Range: $80,000 - $85,000 annually, with a bonus structure
- Strong potential for career growth, with ongoing learning and development opportunities
What you’ll do:
- Establish and manage internal office protocols and procedures to ensure overall efficiency
- Hire, train, and develop office staff to meet patient needs and uphold clinic standards
- Develop and manage staff schedules and timesheets, overseeing HR-related functions
- Create, implement, and manage an effective office budget
- Oversee insurance claims processing and billing systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Provide leadership to ensure outstanding patient service across the team
- Greet patients professionally and create a welcoming environment
- Manage scheduling to optimize clinic workflow
- Handle phone inquiries promptly and professionally
- Support internal and external marketing initiatives to enhance clinic visibility
- Train staff on clinic systems and software (training provided)
- Perform general administrative duties as required
- Foster and maintain a positive, engaging clinic culture
What you’ll bring:
- At least 3 years of dental clinic setting experience, and at least 2 years of leadership.
- Strong knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Professional, friendly demeanour with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
