Description:
We are seeking a Project Manager 60% of role & Business Development 40% of role - Construction Services to join our team! You will be responsible for the management and delivery of commercial roof & waterproofing projects. You will work directly with the Territory Manager to support him in delivering turn key solutions for his clients.

Responsibilities:
- Find leads through door knocking (cold calls), phone cold calls, follow up emails to prospects, job-site marketing. Potential for increased earnings through commission structured sales approach. This will be approximately 40% of your time.
- Complete on site inspections of commercial roofs (flat & low sloped metal) and walls on a regular basis and complete RAMP (Roof Asset Management Program) reports in a timely manner. Training will be provided.
- Complete roof core tests (this means you are willing to get your hands dirty!) and C.L.E.A.R. sample reports (required for Lab tests) and repair as required
- Pre-Construction Meeting document completed within a few days of the meeting.
- Job on-site inspections 5 days per week as weather permits for each on going project/repair/restoration. This includes climbing ladders 40' + and inspecting sites in the cold winter months and hot summer months.
- Morning email update sent to client and rep daily during project.
- Managing on going service and leak calls with use of Excel spreadsheets, uploading photos to shared drive, updating work orders in the RAMP system for client reference. Follow up with client in regards to current costs and quoted solutions.
- Utilization of CRM software to manage contacts and projects.
- Job summary reports completed weekly and saved in the shared drive/RAMP and emailed to Territory Manager.
- Warranty paperwork filled out and warranty provided to the customer in a timely manner - There will be various tasks not mentioned to assist Territory Manager with daily activities with the goal to increase customer satisfaction and drive our overall sales growth.
- Primary work throughout central Ontario including but not limited to Simcoe County, York Region, District of Muskoka, and Grey County.
- Requirement for a reliable personal vehicle to access various sites in the above noted regions.
- Requires a valid drivers license.
- Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met.
- Maintain required project documentation.
- Flexibility to work from home and requirement to establish a working home office.
Qualifications:
- Strong project management skills
- Willing to prospect for new leads (cold calling)
- Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Strong leadership qualities
- Post-secondary education or experience in construction project manager/sales role
- Self starter and creative
- Post-secondary education is an asset
- Great asset with commercial roofing experience/knowledge
- Working at heights certificate is an asset
- Proficiency in CAD-based programs is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required
Bonuses and additional commissions can be earned when targets are achieved.
