SCHEDULE: 6:00AM - 2:30PM, MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 40 HOURS PER WEEK

Responsibilities

On a daily basis, perform all tasks in a safe manner while contributing to the health and safety of the work environment. Be proactive in notifying and intervening in potentially dangerous situations.

Always maintain clean and safe production/warehouse areas.

Upon receipt of raw materials, perform a cursory quality control on packaging materials, chemicals or any other product used in our operations.

Store products and components in the appropriate locations according to established procedures.

Provide all necessary documentation to the Purchasing Department for all receipts, signed accepting the receipt thus approving the eventual payment.

May be required to prepare bulk batches - Perform chemical mixing/receiving in accordance with work order and instructions.

May be required to perform quality laboratory analysis in accordance with established procedures.

Prepare containers for drumming according to instructions and work order.
-
Perform drumming of chemicals, alcoholic products in accordance with BCI instructions and safety standards.

Complete all forms and work orders according to instructions and submit to manager.

Prepares loads, secures loads/containers on pallets, and loads trailers in accordance with hazardous materials transportation standards.

Create shipping notices, shipping declarations, shipping/receiving labels and other documentation for shipments.

May be required to organize and coordinate the shipment of goods.

Maintain up-to-date information in the warehouse management system.

Participate in cyclical and annual inventory.

Bottling in different forms and with different equipment of products for sale.

Driving a pallet truck, forklift as part of daily operations.

All other related tasks.

Availability to work overtime when required.

Forklift experience is required (standing and/or seated counterbalanced). Valid forklift certification is an asset.

Knowledge of WHMIS.

Experience in mixing chemicals is an asset.

Certified in hazardous materials handling and shipping (TDG) and document preparation is an asset.

Experience in quality control is an asset

Knowledge of ISO standards is an asset

Experience working in an FDA audited environment is an asset

Basic knowledge of Windows software; Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) ex: Tecsys is an asset.

Experience with an RF scanner is an asset.
Experience and education:

High school diploma.
-
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a production worker in the food, chemical or other related fields.

Bilingual (French and English), oral and written is required due to interactions with internal stakeholders & external custome
