Job Summary
No Vacancy is hiring a Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient operation. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and takes pride in supporting a professional kitchen environment. The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen, ensuring all dishes, glassware, cookware, and equipment are cleaned and organized while assisting with general kitchen support duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish pit and surrounding work areas
- Ensure clean items are properly stored and readily available for service
- Assist with garbage, recycling, and cardboard removal
- Support kitchen cleaning and closing duties
- Maintain floors, drains, storage areas, and other back-of-house spaces
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Assist kitchen staff with basic prep or support tasks as required
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining organization and attention to detail
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-focused work environment
Qualifications
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset but not required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a restaurant or commercial kitchen
- Familiarity with commercial dishwashing equipment
- Understanding of basic sanitation and food safety practices
- Experience supporting kitchen operations in a high-volume environment
