Job Overview
At Capstone Flooring, we pride ourselves in providing quality work from start to finish. Our clients depend on us to have on-time completion, which includes the aesthetic appearance of a clean job site. As a flooring labourer, you will play an important part in ensuring client satisfaction from assisting with flooring installations, worksite prep and clean-up, and general help.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Installer on Duty, you will be responsible for/assisting with:
- Job site prep and clean-up
- Job site readiness
- Positioning materials for installation
- Cutting and sizing materials
- Assisting with installations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Hardworking and willing to learn other responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
- Familiarity with various hand tools used in construction and maintenance work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if necessary.
- Current and valid Manitoba driver’s license
Compensation:
- $20-22 per hour
- 20-50 hours per week
- Hours will vary by job
