Responsibilities:
- Proficient in John Deere 844/944 or equivilent front end loaders.
- Experience in screener or crusher operation.
- Competent and confident in operating equipment near and around other workers and equipment.
- Loading screener and stock piling material.
- Ability to visually identify material differences.
- Able to keep a clean smooth working surface.
- Understanding of screener and crushing procedures.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of equipment inspections.
- Ability to grease and maintain good housekeeping in equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and policies.
Requirements:
- Understanding and use of safe work practices.
- Ability to work alone with minimum supervision.
- Basic knowledge of screening and crushing operation.
- Understanding stockpiling techniques.
- Common Core Surface Miner/Loader module is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedicated and committed.
- Positive attitude towards working safely.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Possess current valid Class G Driver's License.
- Ability to notice possible equipment issues prior to happening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Fort Frances, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
