We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various materials and tools to construct frameworks for buildings, ensuring quality and precision in every project.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project specifications.
- Construct wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed for foundations and structures.
- Operate heavy equipment safely to assist in the framing process when required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry or construction is essential.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics.
- Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Knowledge of concrete forming and finishing techniques is a plus.
- Welding skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
