Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Local Truck Driver to join our team in Windsor, Ontario. This position involves local pickups and deliveries, allowing drivers to return home daily. We offer excellent pay, a supportive work environment, and consistent year-round work.
Job Duties
- Operate commercial trucks safely and professionally.
- Perform local pickups and deliveries within Windsor and surrounding areas.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Secure and transport loads safely according to regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and required documentation.
- Follow company safety policies and MTO regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Valid AZ Driver's License.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial truck driving experience.
- Must be able to drive manual transmission trucks.
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR record.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and road procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
