Knight Inlet Lodge is a 100% Indigenous-owned wilderness lodge located in the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest on the coast of British Columbia.
Guests from around the world travel here for exceptional wildlife experiences, warm hospitality, and an unforgettable guest experience. We are seeking an energetic, organized, and guest-focused Guest Services Attendant to join our team for the operating season.
This is a dynamic, guest-facing position that combines front desk operations, guest services, clerical support, and food and beverage service. Every day is different, and you'll play a key role in ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay. This is a two weeks in, one week out seasonal position.
As a Guest Services Attendant, you will be one of the first and last people our guests interact with, making your professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail essential to delivering an exceptional Knight Inlet Lodge experience.
Guest Services Responsibilities
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs, including credit card transactions
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service throughout their stay
- Manage gift shop inventory and sales
- Maintain the appearance of the front desk, guest lounge, and gift shop
- Complete clerical duties, data entry, and guest documentation
- Coordinate guest dietary requirements and communicate them to the culinary team
- Respond to guest inquiries and assist with daily operational needs
Dining Room & Hospitality Responsibilities
- Assist with breakfast service alongside the Breakfast Chef
- Set up and clean the dining room before and after meal service
- Complete dishwashing and kitchen clean-up following breakfast
- Assist the Front of House team with dinner and bar service
- Help create a welcoming dining experience for guests
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout guest areas

What We're Looking For
- Previous hospitality, hotel, tourism, restaurant, or customer service experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable multitasking and adapting to changing priorities
- Professional, positive, and guest-focused attitude
- Basic computer skills and confidence using point-of-sale systems
- Cash handling experience is considered an asset
- Comfortable working in a physically active role
- Serving It Right certification is an asset
