Job Description
Hoffman Truck & Trailer LTD is looking for an experienced and reliable Hydraulic Technician / Hydraulic Mechanic to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate should have experience diagnosing, repairing, and installing hydraulic systems on trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, dump systems, liftgates, PTO systems, wet kits, and related hydraulic components.
This is a hands-on position for someone who is mechanically skilled, dependable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose hydraulic system issues
- Repair hydraulic leaks, hoses, cylinders, pumps, and valves
- Install PTO systems and wet kits
- Troubleshoot dump trailers and liftgate systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
- Read hydraulic schematics and diagrams
- Test hydraulic pressure and system performance
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Complete repair documentation when required
Requirements
- Experience with hydraulic systems required
- Experience with trucks and trailers preferred
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Welding/fabrication experience is an asset
- AZ/DZ license is an asset, but not required

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
