Duties
- Perform a variety of nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in compliance with health regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations.
- Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, skincare items, and other beauty products to enhance client experience.
- Assist clients with body waxing services when qualified and trained to do so.
- Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare instructions.
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest nail trends, techniques, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Valid state license or certification as a Nail Technician.
- Experience with body waxing is preferred but not required; training can be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and practices to ensure a safe environment for clients.
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and explain services clearly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
