We are looking for skilled persons to join our team. Are you motivated, detail oriented and exceptionally skilled? Looking for opportunity and growth in carpentry and project management? We are a small team executing high performance residential and commercial building. We cover a large scope of work and we orient ourselves in using new practices and products in a friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate and supervise a team of construction workers
- Perform skilled carpentry work, including formwork, framing and finishing
- Installation of windows, doors, decks, and siding
- Ensure that all work is completed according to building codes and regulations
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized jobsite
Experience:
- Red Seal/ Licensed Carpenter ticket
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and the Ontario Building Code
- Strong knowledge of various carpentry techniques and materials
- Familiarity with other trades (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Drywall)
- Ability to operate power tools and other equipment safely
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of ICF, SIGA, Exterra, Zip-System, Trex and LP Smartside is an asset
