Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards
- Ensure responsible serving practices, including checking IDs and monitoring alcohol consumption
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance registers at the end of shifts
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in serving food items when required, supporting overall restaurant service
- Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Friendly personality with strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Must be at least 21 years old (if serving alcohol) and able to serve responsibly
