Rocky Mountain Forestry Consulting Inc. (RMFC) was established in 2006 and is based in Cranbrook, BC. RMFC performs Invasive Plant Management in the East and West Kootenays.

RMFC has two seasonal job openings.
Requirements:
Class 5 drivers license.
Valid Pesticide Applicator Certificate (Industrial Vegetation & Noxious Weed Control).
Level 1 First Aid Certificate.
UTV certificate (will train).
Experience driving truck with trailer.
Proficient in computer skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Invasive Plant Management. Identification, inventory and treatment of invasive plants. The majority of treatments are performed using UTV's with boom-less nozzles and hose reels. Some backpack work is required.
- Duties include the mapping and inventory of invasive plants with the use of iPads. (training provided)
- Workers are required to collect data, fill out electronic forms. (training provided)
- Workers are required to drive pickups and trailers and safely load, unload equipment.
- Completion of daily safety and equipment inspection reports.
- Safe and accurate mixing, storing, and transportation of herbicides.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with all regulations.

- Be self motivated and able to work in a safe, respectful and efficient manner.
- Be physically fit and be able to work in all weather conditions.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience.

- 11 hour shift (3 OT hours paid daily)
