The role
You own two connected things: the qualifying call, and the outbound pipeline that feeds it.
The qualifying call is your primary job, the first real conversation with an owner after they engage with us through outbound, referral, or our free Sellability Score. You also run the engine behind those calls: building target lists, launching campaigns off our documented playbooks, working follow-ups, and keeping the CRM clean. Proven process, real tools, clear targets.
Duties
- Run qualifying calls and book owners onto advisory calls with our senior team
- Open by asking about their business, ask the one qualifying question, and lock the next call before hanging up
- Get the Sellability Score completed with real revenue and profit figures
- Build and refresh outbound lists, then launch and monitor email and LinkedIn campaigns
- Run stage-based follow-up sequences for founders who've gone quiet
- Keep the CRM current: every touchpoint logged, no opportunity without a next task
- Send same-day confirmations, day-of reminders, and pre-call packages for every booking
Your target
A consistent 20 qualified appointments held per month, with lead-gen goals added after a 90-day ramp. Structured onboarding with check-ins at 30, 60, and 90 days.
Compensation
- $48,000/yr base salary, paid biweekly
- Uncapped appointment bonus: $35 per qualified appointment, rising to $100 as monthly volume climbs
- $150 bonus the first time a booked appointment becomes a paying client
- Expected total $60,000 to $78,600/yr depending on volume, uncapped above that
- Overtime, vacation pay on base and bonuses, and public holiday pay per the Employment Standards Act, 2000
What we're looking for
Must-haves: strong phone and active-listening skills; organized and consistent with follow-up; motivated by performance pay tied to qualified outcomes.
Nice-to-haves (trainable, not required): Clay, Seamless.ai, HeyReach, Smartlead, or a CRM like GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or Pipedrive; experience running signal-based outbound ("GTM Engineer" background a strong plus).
Details: Full-time, fully on-site in Cambridge, Ontario. Set weekly schedule.
