Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles and heavy equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, air conditioning inspection, safety inspections and fluid replacements to keep equipment in top condition.
- Utilize electrical experience to troubleshoot wiring issues and electronic systems within vehicles and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols during all repair activities involving heavy lifting or industrial equipment to prevent accidents.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports for all repairs performed.
Skills
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Proficiency with schematics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting electronic components.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems related to vehicle climate control is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Mechanical knowledge of various machinery.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately for precise repairs.
