CAD DRAFTSMAN / CNC PROGRAMMER
We are seeking a skilled CAD Draftsman and CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding Solidworks software and CNC programming machining processes, with the ability to create precision sheet metal assembly drawings and precise and efficient programs for TRUMPF CNC punch and laser machines. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production meets high-quality standards while optimizing efficiency and accuracy.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Sheet Metal part design & layout
- Model parts in Solidworks.
- Create production drawings in Solidworks
- CNC Programming for Trumpf PUNCH and LASER machines
- Read customer drawings to determine required material and labor
- Utilize Excel software for parts/raw material calculations
- Assist in the implementation of MRP software to develop templates for manufacturing programs/processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with Solidworks
- Experience with CNC programming software (Trumpf TruTops preferred)
- Experience with CNC PUNCH and LASER
- Must have experience in Sheet Metal production
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to multi-task, moving back and forth between two or more tasks
Experience:
- Solidworks: 3 years (required)
- Experience drawing precision sheet metal parts and assemblies.
- CNC Programming: 2 years (required)
