Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Associate Lawyer to join our team. This role is essential for providing exceptional customer support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills.
Duties
- Manage Real Estate Files, including Real Estate transaction accounting.
- Assist with Wills, Estate, and Corporate Files.
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate client records and files.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for the office.
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, proofreading documents, and maintaining office supplies.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless office operations.
- Perform general office cleaning tasks.
Experience
- Licensed to Practice Law in Alberta.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Proficiency in Real Estate Conveyancing Software is preferred. (Unity, and Lawyer Done Deal)
- Proficiency in Legal Accounting Software is preferred. (PC Law)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective data entry and document management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to provide outstanding customer support.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
