EcoCraft Developments is a growing residential home builder in the Annapolis Valley, known for well-designed homes, quality craftsmanship, and a commitment to doing things the right way. We're looking for two carpenters who take pride in their work to join our team.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for people who can work independently, produce quality work, and contribute positively to our team culture.
What You'll Do
- Interior framing and back framing
- Install windows and exterior doors
- Install insulation and vapour barrier
- Finish carpentry including casing, baseboard and interior doors
- Install cabinets, flooring and other interior finishes
- Read and build from residential construction drawings
- Help keep projects organized, clean and moving efficiently
- Work closely with the owner and lead carpenter to continually improve our systems and quality
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on residential carpentry experience building wood-frame homes in Canada
- Able to read residential construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Dependable, organized and self-motivated
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship
