Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Home Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering Furniture and Appliances safely and efficiently into customers homes, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience commercial driving, and possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with schedule
- Assist with moving heavy or bulky items, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery status or issues
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during deliveries
Experience
- 3 years commercial driving or delivery services preferred
- Warehouse experience including moving and handling goods beneficial
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions during deliveries
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
