Connect Employment Services supports adults living with an intellectual disability to work and participate in the community. We are currently hiring for a Full Time Direct Support Professional to support one of our clients in all his employment and personal wellness goals. This Full Time position runs Monday to Friday days, and comes with a starting wage of $21/hr, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and cost-shared RSP program.
Successful applicants must have their High School Diploma, some University- or College- level courses in the Social Services field, and at least 1-2 years' experience working with adults living with an intellectual disability. Experience with personal care and difficult behaviors is beneficial. A clear Criminal Record Check, Clear Abuse Registries, as well as current CPR and First Aid certification are also required. This position requires a vehicle with mileage paid for.
