Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production staff to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of production targets.
Ensure all products meet quality and food safety standards as per GMP, HACCP, and other regulatory guidelines.
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product consistency.
Maintain accurate production and inventory records using ERP or MES systems.
Ensure proper setup, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
Train, coach, and evaluate team members to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and performance.
Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Liaise with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain departments to coordinate production activities.
Troubleshoot issues that arise during production and implement corrective actions.
Diploma/Degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of supervisory experience in a food, beverage, or ingredient manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, SQF, etc.).
Familiarity with production metrics (OEE, yield, downtime analysis).
Experience with ERP or production software (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an asset.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends, if required.
