Overview:
G Force is currently seeking dedicated and professional Security Guards to become part of our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. As a Security Guard, your presence will contribute to fostering a welcoming, professional, and reassuring atmosphere where employees and customers can feel confident and at ease. Duties:
- Provide a welcoming and professional presence at entrances and throughout the premises.
- Prevent unauthorized access through vigilance and customer service.
- Patrol assigned areas and report suspicious activity or risks.
- Assist customers and staff with professionalism and respect.
- Enforce company policies to maintain order and safety.
- Work with management and team members to resolve concerns.
- Respond quickly to emergencies and incidents, involving law enforcement when needed.
- Complete accurate incident reports promptly.
- Maintain integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
- Valid British Columbia Security License (mandatory).
- Previous security guard or customer service experience required.
- Excellent grooming, presentation, and adherence to uniform standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse groups of people.
- Superior observational and problem-solving skills.
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability, particularly under pressure.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable standing and patrolling for extended periods.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to attend training or meetings as required.
