Marketing Coordinator
Location: Niagara College Campuses (Welland & Niagara on the Lake)
Start Date: August 2026
Hours: 35 Hours Weekly
Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will support the Niagara College Student Administrative Council (NCSAC) in creating exciting campaigns, engaging marketing messaging, and trending content to promote brand awareness to the students of Niagara College.
The Marketing Coordinator will be an integral member of a small team, focused on activating marketing campaigns through social media and other creative channels.
Reporting Relationship(s)
The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Marketing Communications Manager. The Marketing Coordinator will also be expected to work closely with the Student Street Team, Student Content Creators and Graphic Designer.
Essential Job Functions
1. Marketing and Communications
1.1 You will ensure marketing channels are populated with up-to-date, accurate information including social media, website, print, and digital signage.
1.2 You will develop a modern, exciting, and engaging Social Media strategy across multiple platforms. Be comfortable in introducing NCSAC to new and relevant platforms when needed.
1.3 You will facilitate the timely answering of students’ questions and comments on social media platforms to ensure quality customer service.
1.4 You will manage Monday.com marketing tickets and liaise with the Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer when required, to facilitate completion of marketing requests.
1.5 When required, create graphic design content during heavy request periods or to assist the Graphic Designer with major projects.
1.6 You will work closely with our Student Content Creator(s) to develop student-made content for our Social Media platforms.
1.7 You will regularly connect with the Marketing Manager to develop marketing campaigns and materials that support all departments of NCSAC.
1.8 You will work closely with the Graphic Designer to create content that complies with brand standards on all NCSAC marketing materials.
1.9 You will assist the Marketing Manager when required to complete market research, special projects, communications strategies and other marketing functions.
1.10 You will provide recommendations, when necessary, to NCSAC on new technologies, marketing methods and processes that enhance current procedures.
1.11 You will maintain electronic archive of content and previous work on corporate drive.
2. Miscellaneous
2.1 Understand and abide by the NCSAC constitution, by-laws, policies, and procedures
2.2 Perform other duties as required to support and foster growth of NCSAC.
Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
