We are looking for a full-time bookkeeper to join our team and work one-on-one with our clients to provide full service bookkeeping services.
A list of duties would include, but not be limited to, the following:
· Monthly bookkeeping for multiple clients
· Preparing bank and other ledger reconciliations
· Preparing files for year-end preparation
· Bi-weekly payroll preparation for clients
· Monthly source deduction calculations for government remittances
· Preparation of T4’s
· Preparation of government filings including GST, PST and WorkSafe
· Providing assistance to clients learning to prepare bookkeeping
· Training future bookkeeping staff as well as clients
· Regular written and oral communication with clients
· Assisting administration as needed
A list of the prerequisites we require:
· Minimum five years experience with full fiscal year bookkeeping for one or more businesses.
· Proficient with Simply Accounting and/or QuickBooks software
· Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word & Excel
· Experience with tax preparation software is an asset
· Confidence in your interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently within deadlines
· Works well in a team environment
· Ability to teach others in a positive manner
· Ability to work overtime during personal tax season
· Ability to work from home part time

Our office is a very fast-paced environment, and we need someone who can keep up and help us continue to grow as a firm. Details regarding wages and benefits will be based on the successful candidates’ knowledge, skills, and experience.
