Make an impact with MNP Corporate Finance as a Vice President within our Capital Advisory practice. This diverse and growing team supports clients through complex financing situations, refinancing mandates, growth capital initiatives, special situations and debt advisory engagements across the mid-market and upper mid-market clients. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with business owners, management teams, lenders and investors to structure and execute financing solutions that support growth, acquisitions, recapitalizations, working capital needs and turnaround situations.

Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of debt advisory and capital raising engagements including refinancing mandates, acquisition financing, growth capital initiatives, recapitalizations and special situations mandates
- Manage financing processes from initial assessment through lender outreach, negotiations, due diligence and closing
- Prepare and review detailed financial models, cash flow forecasts, covenant analysis, liquidity assessments and financing structures
- Develop lender presentation materials, financing memorandums, management presentations and other client deliverables
- Coordinate and participate in meetings with banks, credit funds, private lenders, asset-based lenders, subordinated debt providers and other capital providers
- Advise clients on capital structure alternatives, financing strategy, liquidity management and lender negotiations
- Support clients through time-sensitive or complex financing situations including covenant pressures, liquidity constraints, bank transitions and restructuring-related matters
- Identify key business risks, financing considerations and operational drivers impacting lending decisions and enterprise performance
- Manage engagement planning, timelines, deliverables and project economics including budgets, WIP, billing and collections
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, private capital providers, internal referral partners and external advisors
- Contribute to business development initiatives through networking, market outreach, thought leadership and proposal development
- Mentor, coach and develop analysts and associates by providing technical guidance, transaction oversight and professional development support
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
Skills and Experience
- CPA designation required; CFA, CBV or other finance-related designation considered an asset
- 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, debt advisory, restructuring, commercial banking, leveraged finance, transaction advisory or related fields
- Strong understanding of corporate lending structures, credit analysis, financial covenants and capital markets
- Extensive experience in financial modelling, forecasting and financing analysis
- Experience managing financing or transaction processes in a client-facing environment
- Strong project management and execution capabilities in fast-paced situations with competing priorities
- Proven relationship-building, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong client service orientation and business development focus
- Ability to work collaboratively across service lines including Corporate Recovery & Restructuring, Transaction Advisory and Tax

The annual salary range for this position is: $90,000–$140,000.
