We are seeking a friendly and professional Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team the job is located at 24 hr truck travel centre in rural Saskatchewan . This role is vital in providing exceptional service to customers, handling transactions accurately, and creating a welcoming shopping environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences. Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales or product demos are a plus, helping to enhance customer engagement and sales opportunities.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries in person or over the phone
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling, credit card processing, and returns
- Manage cashiering responsibilities including scanning items, processing payments, and issuing receipts
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical information when needed
- Maintain merchandising displays and ensure the retail area is organized and inviting
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, striving for quick resolution
- Keep accurate records of transactions and assist with inventory management as required
- Support team members with various tasks to ensure smooth store operations
- Indoor and out door duties Janitorial And cleaning showers ,washroom out door garbage.

Skills
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Ability to perform product demos and explain features clearly to customers
- Organizational skills to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Sales-oriented mindset with upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and store revenue
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with merchandising strategies is advantageous
- Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism at all times
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
