Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Duties
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for local and long-distance freight transportation
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform minor automotive repairs and troubleshooting when necessary
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries
- Assist in the operation of sand and gravel hauling with truck and quad.
Experience
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Prior experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is a plus
- Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous but not mandatory
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in transportation industry
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments

Pay: $25.00-$36.56 per hour
