Duties

- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to support smooth kitchen operations
- Cook a variety of dishes with attention to timing, temperature, and presentation, maintaining food safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal assembly and ensure timely service during busy hours
- Follow food handling procedures diligently to uphold sanitation standards and prevent cross-contamination
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, cooking equipment, and storage areas throughout shifts
- Support the overall food service experience by adhering to serving guidelines and assisting with meal plating when needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar food industry role, preferably within a restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and front-of-house staff
- Familiarity with serving standards and customer service expectations in a fast-paced setting
- Basic culinary skills including knife handling, ingredient measurement, and meal assembly
