We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of sales techniques, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain merchandising standards, organize product displays, and ensure shelves are well-stocked
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
- Use phone etiquette skills to handle inquiries and follow-up calls professionally
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Prior experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technology sales preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for transactions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features clearly
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Knowledge of retail merchandising standards and upselling techniques
- Strong phone etiquette skills for handling customer inquiries over the phone
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00-$21.89 per hour
