We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Technician to join our team and help maintain beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients. This role involves performing a variety of landscaping and maintenance tasks to ensure the health and aesthetic appeal of lawns, gardens, and landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and outdoor work, with a strong focus on quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate mowers, power tools, and hand tools to perform lawn care and minor landscape maintenance.
- Mow, trim, fertilize, and edge lawns to maintain a healthy and attractive appearance.
- Perform gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, mulching, and weed control.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with construction or installation projects related to landscape design or hardscaping.
- Follow safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Maintain records of work performed and materials used on each project.
Skills
- Experience with lawn equipment such as mowers and trimmers is preferred.
- Strong gardening and horticultural skills with an understanding of plant care.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and pest control.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining power tools and machinery.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
