WINMAR Kamloops is looking for a Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restoration branch and help continue building a strong presence in the Kamloops market.
This position is responsible for managing branch operations, leading staff, maintaining client and referral relationships, supporting business development, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
The successful candidate will work closely with our ownership group, the Kamloops operations team, the WINMAR franchise network, and our centralized administration office in Kelowna. While the branch operates independently day-to-day, many administrative functions including accounting, payroll, HR, and reporting are managed through our Kelowna office. Strong communication and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams is essential.
We're looking for someone who is organized, accountable, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of branch performance while following established systems and procedures.
ResponsibilitiesBranch Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the Kamloops branch.
- Coordinate staff, equipment, subcontractors, and resources to ensure projects are completed successfully.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure jobs are completed in accordance with company standards, franchise requirements, and industry best practices.
- Assist in resolving operational issues and customer concerns.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, support, and mentor office and field staff.
- Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Promote accountability, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the branch.
Business Development & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with insurance adjusters, brokers, property managers, commercial clients, and referral partners.
- Represent WINMAR within the community.
- Identify opportunities for growth and help expand the branch's market presence.
- Support sales and marketing initiatives as required.
Communication & Administration
- Act as the primary point of contact between the Kamloops branch and our Kelowna administration team.
- Work closely with accounting, payroll, HR, and ownership to ensure information is communicated accurately and on time.
- Maintain regular communication with WINMAR franchise representatives and support resources.
- Ensure branch reporting, documentation, and administrative requirements are completed in a timely manner.
- Support company-wide initiatives and help implement processes and procedures across the branch.
Financial & Performance Management
- Monitor branch revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning.
- Review branch performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Help ensure jobs are properly managed from both an operational and financial perspective.
Health & Safety
- Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC and applicable regulations.
- Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and incident investigations as required.
Qualifications
- Previous management or leadership experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with technology, reporting systems, and administrative processes.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
Assets
- Experience in restoration, construction, insurance, property management, or a related industry.
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of budgeting, job costing, and financial reporting.
- Experience working with centralized administrative teams or multi-location operations.
