We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills in facilities maintenance, electrical work, and customer service. Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on various systems within the facility, including electrical systems.
- Fabricate components as needed to support maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Lead small teams on specific projects or tasks, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
- Weld components as necessary for repairs or fabrication projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and ability to perform electrical repairs.
- Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in welding techniques is desirable but not mandatory.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
