Peterborough Volkswagen is a customer-focused automotive dealership committed to providing exceptional service and support. We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Junior Parts Advisor / Tire Storage Coordinator to join our growing team.
Position Overview
This role combines customer service, inventory management, and tire storage administration. The successful candidate will assist the Parts Department with day-to-day operations while coordinating seasonal tire storage services for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Parts Department
- Assist customers, technicians, and service advisors with parts inquiries and requests.
- Source, order, receive, and stock automotive parts and accessories.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
- Prepare parts orders for internal and retail customers.
- Process returns, warranties, and parts transfers as required.
- Keep the parts department clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Tire Storage Coordination
- Manage customer tire storage records and seasonal tire change appointments.
- Coordinate the retrieval and storage of customer tire sets.
- Ensure proper labeling, tracking, and organization of stored tires.
- Communicate with customers regarding tire storage, retrieval, and seasonal service requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory and storage documentation.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive, parts, warehouse, or customer service experience is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems.
- Ability to lift and move tires and automotive parts as required.
- Valid driver's license preferred.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
