Depending on the crew you are assigned to, your starting week in the rotation may vary. The work schedule follows a biweekly rotating shift as outlined below:
- Week 1: 48 hours (4 days), 12:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Week 2: 36 hours (3 days), 12:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Week 3: 48 hours (4 days), 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Week 4: 36 hours (3 days), 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Your specific start day for the assigned shift will be confirmed during your first week of employment.
- Operate mobile equipment safely and efficiently, completing all required inspections
- Position and secure trailers for loading/unloading, ensuring docks and trailers are clean and safe
- Load, unload, and store materials properly, with correct stacking, strapping, and weighing
- Prepare shipping documents and updates trailer movements in the system
- Maintain clean work areas and promptly cleans up any spills
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Valid Class AZ or DZ license (mandatory upon hire)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability and willingness to operate plant mobile equipment and gantry cranes (or proven previous experience)
- Physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs
- Able to work in high-heat environments (35°C+) near furnaces
- Willingness to adjust shift schedules to cover vacations and absences with reasonable notice
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental guidelines
