Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Appliance Repair Helper to assist our experienced technicians in diagnosing and repairing household appliances. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in appliance repair, mechanical systems, and electrical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in technical work, customer service, and learning new skills within the appliance repair industry. Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians with diagnosing appliance issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Support the repair and replacement of components in various appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, and ovens
- Learn to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical schematics for troubleshooting purposes
- Help with the assembly, disassembly, and installation of appliances at customer locations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during service visits
- Follow safety protocols related to electrical systems, HVAC components, and mechanical parts during repairs
Experience
- Basic electrical experience or familiarity with electrical systems is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with appliance repair is a plus
- Prior experience working with schematics or technical diagrams is advantageous
- Customer service skills are desirable to ensure positive interactions with clients
- Knowledge of HVAC systems or assembly work can be beneficial but is not required
- Willingness to learn new skills and develop expertise in appliance repair techniques
